AI Trust Consultant Internship

At Nemko Digital, we are pioneers in the crucial field of Digital Trust, shaping the technology landscape and societal norms around artificial intelligence and digital technologies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, operational activities, and content development and validation. Interns will work closely with senior consultants and leadership on AI assurance projects, while also contributing to related digital trust topics such as cybersecurity and data protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regulatory assessments, risk analyses, strategic roadmaps, and industry research across AI governance, cybersecurity, data protection, and other digital trust topics.
• Research AI and other digital technology regulations – including the EU AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act, and GDPR – and help structure our regulatory mapping environment.
• Translate regulatory requirements and industry developments into practical governance strategies and recommendations.
• Assist in proposal development and client presentations.
• Support the refinement of key service offerings, such as the AI Trust Mark and AI Governance Maturity Assessment.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to write news and insight articles on digital trust and regulatory topics.

Who you are

We are looking for candidates with:

• A recently completed degree in a relevant field, such as technology law, digital regulation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
• A strong and demonstrable interest in AI governance, compliance, and emerging regulations.
• Analytical skills and the ability to conduct research on industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to execute tasks independently and willingness to learn.
• A specific capability, area of expertise, or industry focus that you would like to develop and contribute during the internship – such as cybersecurity, healthcare, AI tooling, data protection, or another relevant field. Please highlight this focus in your application.
• Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, content creation, automation, or other practical applications is considered an advantage.
